Summit shell on Japanese cat's cradle base. The fibreglass shell was produced either in Taiwan or Japan with a different finish compared to the US version.

The shell is covered with an Alexander Girard blue-green “checker 1926” fabric.

Shell is stamped and embossed. The japanese “showa 48-49” stamp shows the age of the chair, which is the equivalent of the year 1973-1974.
